House rules

1. Pets

   Pets are allowed, provided basic hygiene rules are respected inside and outside the home, as well as the Noise Law and neighbourhood rules. Guests have a special duty to supervise their pet, so that it does not endanger the life or physical integrity of others. (Decree-Law no. 276/2001 of 17 October)

2. Smoking

   Smoking is not allowed inside the house. You may smoke on the balcony.

3. Quiet hours

   Please respect the neighbours. Keep noise down between 11 pm and 7 am — the night period in Portugal’s General Noise Regulation.

4. Parties

   Parties and events are not allowed.

5. Energy

   Please do not leave lights or air conditioning on when you are out, or when they are not needed.

6. Check-in and check-out

   Check-in is from 3 pm. Check-out is by 11 am. If you need a later departure, please let us know as soon as you can.

7. Parking

   There is no private parking. The street in front of the house (R. Dr. Dias Ferreira) is Area 9 (light blue) of Coimbra’s limited-duration parking zones (City Council / SMTUC). Parking is paid on weekdays from 8 am to 7 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm. It is free on Sundays, public holidays and outside these hours. Pay at the parking meter or with the IParque, Via Verde or EasyPark apps.

8. Waste

   Household waste should go in the municipal collection container. Please recycle when you can.

9. Plants

   No need to water the plants. Only if they ask. 🙂
